Shopify has announced one of its biggest updates: Online Store 2.0. With Online Store 2.0 themes, you can easily place the View on Amazon Button on your product pages using app blocks.
In this article, we'll walk you through the steps to integrate the Amazon Button into your 2.0 store using the Spreadr App Block.
Steps:
1. Open your Shopify admin
Go to: Online Store → Themes → Edit Code / Customize
2. Select a product template
Choose the product page template where you want the button to appear.
3. Click "Add Block"
From the left sidebar, click Add Block, then select Spreadr App Block under Apps.
4. Position the block
Drag and drop the block to your desired location.We recommend placing it just below the Buy Buttons.
5. Customize the button (optional)
You can style the button through the App Block settings:
Class: Add classes you want to apply (example:
button)Style: Add inline styling (example:
margin: 10px;)
6. Click Save
7. Button behavior on product pages
The View on Amazon button will appear on Spreadr product pages, and your regular Add to Cart and Buy Now buttons will be hidden.
